Help Mom Beat Cancer
When you hear the word “cancer”, the heart fills with fear, despair, and deep sadness. Cancer can destroy not only your body but also your mind and spirit. And when it hits someone close, you are willing to give up everything in order to help.
Over a year ago, my Mom was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. It has been quite hard – emotionally, physically, financially… That’s why we are asking for your help.
Many of you might not know that there’s no health insurance in Ukraine, and you have to pay for every small thing there. Plus the clinic where she’s been getting chemo treatments is 12-hour train ride from her home.
Despite of all that, I have to say that Mom is doing ok, thanks to supportive family and friends, deep self-work, and desire to live. She has changed her attitude to life, she does gratefuls every night, daily meditations, etc…
She is in ok condition to travel at the moment and we don’t want to miss this precious time and opportunity. We have been talking to a few clinics in Mexico but Oasis of Hope definitely stood out with their approach and responsiveness.
