The Best Diet To Improve Weight Loss Training
Consistent and gradual weight loss is not just about the weights and exercises. Sure, those are important. However, of equal importance is the diet(s) the individual is on. It does not matter that you take all the weight loss pills or do even the most excruciating workouts.
The reality is that if you are not watching what goes into you, then you are just undergoing an exercise in futility. This is why you need decent diet regimens that will help improve your weight loss training.
While you may want the best diet plan to improve your weight loss training, the fact is that there is a lot to consider when dieting. Your diet, even if it has fewer carbs than usual, has to be healthy and capable of providing you with the needed nutrients necessary for everyday living. Otherwise, you’ll be potentially setting yourself up for failure.
That said, the following dieting programs are incredible at getting great results for everyone looking to lose weight and keep it that way:
Paleo Diet
Also known as the caveman’s diet, this diet is primarily rich in lean proteins and has little or no carbs at all. The assumption is that this is the same diet that our forebearers were on. More importantly, it is popular and about the best diet because of its modern day results.
Multiple studies have shown the efficacy of Paleo diet in comparison to other popular dieting plans –we’ll be examining those in a minute – that are also touted as being effective for weight loss. The most recent study was carried out by the Cardiovascular Associates of Virginia Beach.
The conclusion of the study showed that participants lost over 13 pounds – a whopping 6% body fat every day – within two months without any other weight loss exercise, workout or regimen.
Vegan Diet
Next in line is the vegan diet. As effective as this is, it is not as popular as the Paleo diet because participants have to forgo all animal products. As you may already know, that is not an easy feat at all. It takes a ton of discipline and effort to make this work.
However, if you are fine with it, then a vegan diet might just be the best for you. According to the aforementioned study, participants were shown to have lost over 12 pounds in 60 days whilst adhering to the diet and using no other weight loss programs or regimens.
However, a vegan diet’s uniquely huge benefit is the drastic reduction in all participants’ cholesterol levels. So, if you are looking to lower your cholesterol levels whilst also losing weight, the vegan diet is the way to go.
DASH (Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension) Diet
The DASH diet, while not as potent as the first two, is a well-known diet that’s recommended to people who are either diabetic or prediabetic. This is because it is extremely effective at lowering triglyceride levels in the body. In case you did not know, this is an important risk factor for type 2 diabetes.
In the aforementioned study, participants observed a total weight loss of about 8 pounds over the course of 60 days. This is particularly advised for men and women older than 35 who are obese or overweight with prediabetic or even diabetic conditions and looking to shed some of that weight whilst reversing their diabetic conditions.
One thing you should always know is that weight loss is not sudden and will take time. Just keep at it and be disciplined. Before long, you should start noticing some other benefits including increased libido (usually as a result of the release of endorphins and testosterone), better breathing, deeper sleep, little or no panting whilst walking, and a general feeling of well-being.
